Help Our Designers Improve
Test our products!
Become a (DE-FI) product tester and tell us what you think during our designers product development. Your feedback as a product tester will provide our designers with valuable insights to improve and innovate their design range. (DE-FI) DOES NOT offer payment to consumers for product surveys or reviews, we will however, offer selected product testers complementary tickets to our fashion experiences.
About the (DE-FI) Product Tester Program
As the designers in the Dayton Fashion Week: The Designer Incubator are preparing for A Weekend of (DE-FI)ance in January 2025 and ultimately Dayton Fashion Week: The Collections in March 2025 our product tester platform plays an integral role in the process of ensuring that they are prepared. We want to know what you think about the designers products. We want you to share your thoughts about the products design, feel, fit, and etc. Your thoughts about the designs helps the designer to improve them. On this platform you can find information about the product test process in general and how you can request your invitation to become an official (DE-FI) Product Tester.
The Process:
APPLY
The ideal candidate should have a Passion for fashion and meet minimum requirements:
- Living in the US
- Internet access and a valid e−mail address
- Read and write in the English language
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide body measurements
- Not test any competitor products
- Not share any information related to the product you are testing. This includes any source of social media, personal messaging or any other form of communication.
QUALIFY
Fit one of our product sizes (test products are only available in limited sizes)
Test
The Product Testing Team selects you based on characteristics such as shoe/apparel size, demographic profile, geographic location.
ACCEPT
If you are selected for a test, you will receive an e−mail inviting you to participate.
RECEIVE
If you decide to participate, the test product will be mailed to you with instructions.
TEST
Test the product for a required amount of events hours over a 6 week period
.
RETURN
Mail back the test product. We will inspect and evaluate it ((DE-FI) will provide a return label).
FEEDBACK
Keep detailed logs of your daily activities. At the end you will answer a simple online questionnaire.
