(DE-FI) has been largely self-fund with (DE-FI)'s Owner/Director Caressa L. Brown carrying most of the financial load. The first 8 years of our work were volunteer and community outreach focused, however, with new levels of growth and opportunities plus the economic strain that the pandemic brought on comes additional hardships that require additional support.
We have organically grown into "The Resource" for all things fashion and creative with our grassroots movement that has revitalized the design and fashion industry in our city as well as serving as the inspiration and major influencer for multiple startups and initiatives in the city that are building an economic composition and creating a positive impact on the Miami Valley as a whole.
