Despite popular belief, the "INC" is not short for incorporated, (DE-FI) Global INC is an LLC. The INC stands for Incubator Networking Collaborative
The Designer Incubator applications will open up at the conclusion of (DE-FI) Fashion Week, July 14, 2024 and close October 12, 2024. Please note that in order to eligible apply to our Designer Incubator, you MUST attend (DE-FI) Fashion Week.
It's simple, all you have to do is apply. The Associate Incubator application process is not as intensive as the designer incubator and are accepted year round. Apply HERE.
Let's face it, vendor events are boring! We rarely have vendors at our events, so if you'd like to vend with us, you better bring your "A" Game.
We are in the big leagues, and have the Who's Who of the fashion Industry watching our work and attending our events.
People want engagement and interactive experiences, not just somebody sitting at a table trying to sell them something.
So if you have what it takes to help create an amazing hand on experience for our guests, applications apply HERE.
Model submissions are accepted year round for both (DE-FI) Models Agency and for our Signature Experiences.
If (DE-FI) Models is interested in representing you, we will reach out to you via email with additional details. If we don't reach out to you for signing, we will keep your name and images in our database. Once our designers have completed the incubator process and are ready to begin the casting process, they'll select from the models in our database and we'll send private invites to models selected to come in for a casting call.
Models who have submitted to walk in incubator related events, will be notified via email details of in person or online castings.

Absolutely! (DE-FI) Models and (DE-FI) Global INC incubator events are two separate entities.
The tentative dates for the Dayton Fashion Week Runway Showcases are March 21st-23rd, 2025.
The tentative dates for Fashion Week of Cincinnati have not been set yet. Please note that the Cincinnati Fashion Incubator will launch during (DE-FI) Fashion Week, July 12th-14th, 2024.
Dayton Fashion Week's Designer Incubator and the Cincinnati Fashion Incubator are set up in 7 stages that last about a 2 years. A Weekend of (DE-FI)ance represents the point where the designers put everything that they learned and worked on first 5 stages on display, from photoshoots to mini-runway presentations, business structure and more.
Picture A Weekend of (DE-FI)ance as more of an interactive and immersive fashion open house/pitch event where designers are evaluated and receive feedback on how to improve or adjust their line ahead of the main runway showcases in each respective city.
The Fashion Week showcases are all of the high energy, glitz, and glamor that you'd expect from a (DE-FI) Fashion Experience. Guests will have the opportunity to see measurable growth in the designers when they showcase their full line.
The headlining showcases for both Dayton Fashion Week and Fashion Week of Cincinnati are produced by (DE-FI) Global INC, however, everyone is welcomed to apply and produce their own events regardless of your affiliation with (DE-FI).
The Cincinnati Fashion Incubator is a part of the fashion pipeline bridging the gap between economic development, mentorship, resources, and access for fashion professionals.
Fashion Week of Cincinnati is the capstone of The Cincinnati Fashion Incubator, it's a highly competitive, concept to completion, retail, and industry ready fashion development program and consist of the high energy runway showcases.
(DE-FI) Global INC offers three different ways for you to host an event and to create your own original programming.
Coffee with a Designer
This is a great way to ease into the process of hosting an event, and morning and early afternoons are underutilized during the week. You determine the location of the meetup which can be a coffee shop, public space or co-working venue — be creative! This is also the most intimate format as it can include one-on-one meetups or small groups. We recommend capping participants at 12-15.
Studio Crawl
The organized Studio Crawl will be a fan favorite! Participating studios are selected by (DE-FI) advisors based on what they think will make the best experience for attendees.
Host your own event
Hosting an event is an opportunity for you to create your own original programming which can include, but is not limited to, a runway experiences, a workshop, panel discussion, or a speaker. The most well-attended events tend to engage a topic that provides valuable takeaways or includes well-known speakers.
Applications will open on September 4th, 2024 for Dayton Fashion Week. Dates for Fashion Week of Cincinnati Fashion Week will be announced soon.
Nope! Host are able to ticket their events however they see fit.
If you are offering your venue as a resource, please reach out to us at info@defiglobalinc.com. The events team can make the introduction if a host has an event, but no venue. (DE-FI) Global INC is not responsible for negotiating terms between a potential host and a venue.
